Great to see you here James, when I moved to White Rock in 2006 2007 james was my guitar teacher. I was already on accomplished musician and how many CDs out but my guitar playing was just average. I was more accomplished on keyboardS and saxophone and vocals but James is an amazing guitar teacher and a great friend

Hello James. Once again thank you so much for your lessons. I am now learning how to play Scarborough Fair. Q. is it possible for you to show us the notes you are playing on the fret board. I often have difficulty knowing the notes because of your fingers. Many thank again.

Appreciate you James! Your guitar lessons and your kindness contributed so much to how I play and conduct myself as a musician and human today! So happy you’re back on your musical journey my friend! 🤘🏽☺️🎶💚
I happened to have started with the other playlist and so I've learned malaguena and Greensleeves as my two songs... but happy birthday?! I must say the composer wanted to show off a bunch major chords in one song. flexing 💪

Hi James, just want to say thank you for teaching me how to play classical guitar through your videos.
talk talk talk
James, I needed to let you know how grateful I am. This song had always been a precious earworm to me from a long time ago which I had always dreamed of one day learning to play. prior to the pandemic I only knew how to strum a few chords on guitar and this is the first piece I ever devoted myself to sitting down and learning but your teaching of it was so helpful that I had memorized it within a couple of weeks. My best friend who I had once been the violinist for her son's school recording project before he died was the first woman in the US to ever earn a degree in classical guitar and she was stunned and called me a genius because it is so much better than the John Renbourne version which substitutes all sorts of bells and things for the notes you have articulated onto the fretboard and, though I have learned other tunes since, it has become a most cherished piece which I practice constantly.
Verry good.i like clasic guitar
Thanks. It helped👍🌈
i looked at 5 videos of this and this is the only one i understood thanks subscribed.
